December 7-11

  • Complete 1st step reports for elementary - printed reports
  • Fix the ksSTUDENT edit button for MS (easy)
  • ksTEACHERS "S1" & "S2" Buttons are not consistant (easy)
  • make a simple exporter for finalsite data (lower priority)
  • Editing past reports—where do I go now to edit reports from 08-09 year or earlier now that the interface under Student/Enrollment/Academic has changed. (CB to investigate and report)

  • Attendance (talk to Susan about this)

    • MS & HS weekly lates-verification process.  Have this list linkable via MS & HS attendance interface every Thursday—have a notice appear when teachers click on their “tutor group” and a final reminder after clicking “done.”or if there is window that teacher can see every day (or every Thursday) of the weekly lates, it may be good too.

    •  Printing daily attendance via grid is very very very time-consuming.  Can we:

      • Search AY

      • Search grade

      • Search date

      • Print

    • Attendance Incidents—need grade and class appear by student names

    • fix Attendance report showing incorrect numbers

  • Re-enrollment Tab (check procedure in Admissions - this shouldn't be an issue - check with Susan)

  • Default to the tutor group layout (new attendance module - Brian did "something")

  • MS Report Layout - need one like the HS report layout (no totals needed for MS)

  • Criteria Descriptors are much larger than we have given room for (this is a big one)

  • Review YIS.Assessment reports for correct functionality

  • Build out Semester 2 reports

  • Building an HR solution (John Snowball/James Request)

    • Improved ksTEACHER showing currently employed teachers, their teaching loads, grade report editing area, etc..

Assessment Module still has some problems:
* It is not possible to remove students from roster. Students that are removed on STUDREG still appear on the roster.
* The Entering of Grades is not linked to the Maximum Vaulue. Considering that some departments have a a 0-20 value list, it is hard to enter values for those with shorter lists. The validation of data entry should be linked to the Maximum Value for each category?
* Some people have had difficulties entering data when other users are present (permission conflict?) [see comment by Simon Lorimer: ticket 376].
* The report printing part is still not done, and only the "sample" appears. Some new data might be required (grade boundaries for each criteron for each criteria set).

Other than that, most teachers seem to be very satisfied by the module.
